Product Introduction
The OBCS-XD box-type ultrasonic open channel flow meter (hereinafter referred to as the "flow measurement box") is a device developed by our company to meet the needs of water level and flow measurement in open channels. The flow measurement box is manufactured through precision processing, with accurate internal dimension parameters. The entire measurement and calculation process is independent of channel parameters; it is calibrated in the factory before delivery, and no on-site calibration is required.
Working Principle
Based on the time-difference principle, the flow measurement box calculates the fluid velocity by measuring the time difference of ultrasonic waves propagating in the fluid in the forward and reverse directions. It can measure the average velocity of the fluid through multiple pairs of internal ultrasonic transducers. The flow area is calculated using the electronic water gauge and the set box width. Finally, the instantaneous flow rate, cumulative flow rate, and other data are obtained using the velocity-area method principle.
